Clients agree to pay the fees for the services selected. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Corporate Clients (Training Programs):
- Cancellation by Client:
Notice Period: Clients must provide at least 14 days’ notice for cancellations of scheduled training sessions.
Refund: If a client cancels with more than 14 days’ notice, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations made within 14 days will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation by Fluentforwork.com:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training sessions if necessary. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
Individual Sessions:
- Cancellation by Client:
Notice Period: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations of individual sessions.
Refund: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be eligible for a refund. Sessions can be rescheduled if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.
Refund Policy:
- Refund Requests: Refund requests must be made in writing within 30 days of the scheduled training session.
- Full Refund: Clients are eligible for a full refund if the request is made within the specified notice period (14 days for corporate training, 24 hours for individual sessions).
- Partial Refund: If a cancellation is made within the notice period, clients may receive a partial refund, subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Special Circumstances: In cases of illness or emergency, clients may reschedule sessions without penalty, provided they notify us as soon as possible.
8. Client Responsibilities
Accurate Information:
Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding the employees to be trained. This includes their current level of English proficiency, specific needs, and goals.
Participation and Engagement:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their employees participate actively and engage in the training sessions. This includes attending sessions on time and completing any assigned tasks or homework.
Technical Requirements:
Clients must ensure that their employees have access to the necessary technical equipment and a stable internet connection required for remote training sessions.
Attendance Policy:
Clients are expected to adhere strictly to the policy on employee attendance, lateness, and absences. While sickness and illness will be treated with leniency, it is the client’s responsibility to manage their employees’ attendance. In cases of significant absenteeism or failure to meet the minimum test scores, clients may need to reassess the employee’s suitability for continued training.
9. Employee Proficiency
We do not train beginner-level English students. All employees must be at least conversational in English, hired for English-speaking roles, and have a working proficiency in English.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Fluentforwork.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or services.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our Website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
